AEOI chief refuses delay in launch of Arak reactor

Tehran, Nov 21, IRNA -- Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) here on Wednesday refused the news about possible delay in launching the heavy water reactor of Arak in central Iran.

Fereydoun Abbasi Davani made the remarks while talking to IRNA after the cabinet session this morning.

He rejected claims that there will be some delays in putting into operation of the Arak research reactor due to some problems and said, "everything is ok".
