Velayate-4 maneuver carries no message of threat- chief of staff

Tehran, Nov 14, IRNA -- Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said Wednesday that Velayate-4 antiaircraft maneuver underway in the eastern province of South Khorassan carries no message of threat.
Major General Hassan Firouzabadi told reporters that Iran is not interested in waging war with any country.
He stressed that the ongoing military drill is aimed at defending the Islamic Republic and Islamic Revolution.
On Syrian developments, Firouzabadi said all political and military developments in Syria are made by the advocates of terrorism.
He added that the ongoing conflicts in Syria will end soon and peace and tranquility would be established in that country.
