Ahmadinejad thanks Supreme Leader for guideline

TEHRAN, Nov 1, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei thanked the Supreme Leader for his insights and guidelines on how the officials should behave before the next president election.
“While welcoming the timely guideline (by the Supreme Leader), the government as before will do its best to serve the nation and it insists on the principles and values of the Islamic Revolution and safeguarding the basic rights of the nation,” part of President Ahmadinejad’s letter read.
The president noted that due to heavy responsibilities, the government will not welcome domestic differences and as before and also for the sake of the country, it will tolerate all hardships.
“Your highness has for several times reiterated that everyone should act in a way as to have a vibrant election and with the maximum voter turnout. The presidential election is the manifestation of national will and symbol of popular sovereignty and the highest shows of democracy in the country,” Ahmadinejad said.
