Supreme Leader inspects achievements of Army's ground forces

Tehran, April 22, IRNA -- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday inspected the achievements of ground forces of Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces attended the memorial building of martyrs of the sacred defense and prayed to God to bestow peace upon soul of the martyrs.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Leader inspected parachute training unit designed by domestic specialists and communicated via video-conference with commanders of Abuzar garrison at Sare-Pole-Zahab and the Aviation service of the ground forces in Zahedan.
General Commander of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran Major-General Salehi welcomed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and presented a report on the performance of the Army.
In the meantime, Commander of the Army's ground forces Brigadier-General Pourdastan briefed the Supreme Leader on preparedness of the personnel under his command in different defense zones.
