Russian Foreign Ministry describes Iran, G5+1 talks as constructive

Moscow, April 15, IRNA -- Russian Foreign Ministry in an statement on Sunday announced that the Saturday's talks between Iran and G5+1 were held in a constructive atmosphere and based on mutual respect.
The statement added that both sides in this round of talks showed their full readiness to find a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear issue.
The statement read that the main theme of Istanbul talks was to review the possibility of politically solving the issue, modality, diplomatic activities on Iran’s nuclear program and build confidence between the two sides.
“Both sides underlined the necessity of both sides' readiness to continue talks on the basis of Non-Proliferation Treaty, the statement added.
The statement said that setting May 23 as the date of next round of talks in Baghdad was the main achievement of the negotiations.
