Rosatom prioritized safety standards in Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant

Moscow, March 23, IRNA -- Director General of Russia's state-owned Rosatom Company, Sergey V. Kirienko said that the first priority in all phases of construction of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was meeting the safety standards.
Kirienko made the remarks in an interview with IRNA correspondent in Moscow on Friday.
'In view of the fact that the construction of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant follows an accurate and preplanned timetable, the safety of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant took place in accordance with the latest international safety standards of buildings,' the Russian official added.
He expressed satisfaction with different phases of construction of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
'I am fully satisfied with working with our Iranian partners in implementation of this important energy project (Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant),' Kirienko further said.
