TEHRAN (ISNA) - Tehran’s ambassador to Riyadh Mohammad Javad Mahallati said there is no impediment to Saudi Arabian experts to visit Iran’s nuclear installations.
Mohammad Javad Mahalati added, "Iran has no problem in visiting its nuclear facilities by Saudi experts to make clear the reality of its nuclear drive."
“Iran does not intend to achieve nuclear weapons due to its religious beliefs and political aspects of the issue," he told Saudi Arabian al-Watan daily.
Mahallati emphasized practicing Saudi Arabian King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz‘s message mentioned in Persian Gulf Cooperation Council Summit in Abu Dhabi. King Abdullah speaking in the summit emphasized the importance of direct interaction on Iran’s nuclear programs to end doubts and disputes.
Iran’s ambassador to Riyadh noted, “bilateral relations need efforts to ease misunderstandings. There are different countries trying to deepen presumptive disputes and conflicts between the two countries.”
He continued, “steps taken by authorities of the two countries are in correct line and will help settle disputes."
