Iran says no suspect of student terror act arrested

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iran has not arrested any suspect involved in assassination of the master student so far, said Iranian Judiciary Spokesman Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei.
"As far as I know, no one involved in the terrorist attack has been captured so far," he told reporters in a press conference on Monday.
Assailants shot dead Dariush Rezaei-Nejad, an Iranian electronics' master student at Tehran's Khajeh Nassir University and wounded his wife as they waited for their child outside a Tehran kindergarten on Saturday.
Iran's Parliament Speaker, Ali Larijani said on Sunday the United States and Zionist regime are responsible for the terrorist act.
Some other Iranian scientists have disappeared in recent years or been targeted in attacks.
Last November 29, Majid Shahriari was killed in the capital when men on motorcycles attached a bomb to his car, and current Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Fereidoun Abbasi Davani survived a similar assassination attempt on the same day.
Another top Iranian physicist, Masoud Ali Mohammadi, was killed in a bomb blast on January 12, 2010.
Chancellor of Iranian Khajeh Nassir University of Technology Majid Qasemi called for identification and punishment of agents involved in assassination of the Iranian student.
