Iran to investigate Lavrov's nuclear offer: FM Spokesman

TEHRAN (ISNA) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Tuesday the country would investigate Sergei Lavrov's proposal upon receiving.
Regarding Russian "step by step approach" to resolve Iran's nuclear issue, Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman said, "we will investigate the proposal put forward by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as soon as we receive it."
"Iran's peaceful nuclear programs are all in line with the rules of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and articles of Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and Iranian people have legal right to continue the nuclear drive. All of these activities are carried out under observation and cooperation of the IAEA. We inform the IAEA of our entire activities. Other countries should respect Iran's nuclear rights, if they are about to find any solution," he told reporters in his weekly press conference.
Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman also moved to remarks of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu about holding a meeting between Iran and 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) in Turkey and said, "nothing new has happened about the talks and we will inform people whenever any new decision is made."
