Iran wraps up missile maneuver

Tehran, July 6, IRNA -- The second and last phase of Iran’s missile maneuver codenamed ‘Great Prophet VI’ ended after the targeted objectives were achieved.

According to a report by the Public Relations Department of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp, the ten-day war games came to an end by test-firing modern and radar-evading Tondar and Persian Gulf missiles.

The missiles used during the maneuver were totally produced domestically in a bid to promote the country’s defense power and can hit any point at any time in case of emergency.

Spokesman for the maneuver, Colonel Asghar Qelichkhani said that the war game was a success.

In the first phase of the maneuver, the missiles hit land-based targets while they were launched at moving targets at sea during the second phase.
