IRGC Navy equipped with modern equipment: Commander

Bushehr, July 3, IRNA -- Commander of the Second Naval Region of the Islamic Revolution’s Guards Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ali Razmjuo, said on Sunday that the IRGC forces are equipped with modern military equipment with the purpose of increasing Iran's defense capabilities.
Brigadier General Razmjou said that different types of short-range and long-range missiles compatible with the Persian Gulf climatic conditions are stationed in Second Region of Persian Gulf.
'A considerable amount of speed boats that are capable of carrying different types of missiles and torpedo-launchers have been added to the military equipment of IRGC's Second Naval Region,” he added.
Referring to the unique strength of IRGC's Naval Forces in the Persian Gulf’s Second Region, Brigadier General Razmjou noted that military helicopters used for the purpose of transportation and defending the Persian Gulf islands are being used in IRGC’s Naval Forces, particularly the Second Region.
“We have tested 14 ballistic missiles while they cannot be identified by the enemy under any condition,” he added.
