1st phase of Great Prophet 6 Wargame staged successfully

Tehran, June 27, IRNA -- The first phase of the Great Prophet 6 Wargame, featuring unveiling of underground missile launch pad, was successfully carried out.

The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutions Guards Corps (IRGC) quoted spokesman of the wargame Colonel Asghar Ghelichkhani as saying on Monday that technology for construction and operation of underground silos is fully indigenized thanks to endeavors of Iranian experts.

He said technology for construction of underground silos dates back to 15 years ago when it was first made available to the Missile Command Department of the IRGC.

Colonel Qelichkhani said among main features of the silos is their ability for launching long range missiles.

The second phase of the military exercise will beging on Tuesday.
