TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran denied Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (P)GCC ministerial meeting's statement as "unfounded."
The declaration involves repetitious claims and fake allegations that the Islamic Republic of Iran is meddling in other countries' issues.
It also raised concerns over the Islamic Republic of Iran's peaceful nuclear work.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said the measure aims to deviate world's public opinion from military actions of some regional states used to confront the legitimate demands and rights of their nations.
He stressed importance of Persian Gulf security and said some regional currents and media are playing a destructive role to create atmosphere of enmity.
He added, "the measure (issuing the declaration) gives no assistance to regional stability."
