TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani warned the US on Thursday not to interfere in its domestic matters and disturb the situation in the Middle Eastern country.

His remarks came after comments made by the US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on Iran.

"32 years has passed since the Islamic Revolution. The Iranian nation sacked dictator (Shah) and created a democratic regime, but the US officials have been at odds with Iran from the beginning. The US Secretary of State says shamelessly that we have gathered money to disturb Iran's domestic situation, but you have made a mistake to do so," he said in the western city of Ilam.

"We openly support uprisings of regional nations and we declare our support for Hezbollah, Hamas and regional revolutions honorably," Larijani noted.

He said, "people in Tunisia, Bahrain, Libya, Yemen and many countries are standing against their governments, they have got bored of dictatorial rules linked to the West. They got bored of the US hostile behavior in the region."

He then criticized the US interference in the countries, saying that, "the most important lesson that the US should learn now is that the region cannot tolerate their disgusting behavior and it stands against them."

He then referred to warships sent to Libya by the US and said, "Americans think that they created fear in the region and changed conditions through the measure. They should know that they only raise people's hatred."
