Satellites used for guiding missiles, helicopters, submarines

Tehran, May 9, IRNA -- Defense Minister Mohammad Mostafa-Najjar said here Saturday that the ministry uses satellites and modern facilities to guide missiles, helicopters and submarines.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines the ceremony to unveil the book 'Shiite Atlas' at the ongoing Tehran International Book Fair, he added that Defense Ministry's Geographical Organization has excellent facilities which can be used for military purposes.
Warning about the enemies' efforts to sow discord among Muslims, the minister said that it is imperative for men of pen to prevent distortion of Shiite history.
'Shiite Atlas' presents a clear image of religion, he concluded.
