Iran-Russia-Power Plant
Iran and Russia have focused on technical issues on putting into operation of Bushehr power plant, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday.
He said that there is no problem in the political spectrum of the two countries and that technical issues are being handled to operate Bushehr power plant.
He quoted head of Majlis Foreign Policy and National Security Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, as saying that the MPs in their recent inspection to the Bushehr power plant witnessed that all programs were going ahead according to schedule.
The MPs also said that the Russian side had increased the number of its personnel at the site of the power plant, Qashqavi added.
Construction and putting into operation of the Bushehr power plant are great works which are being done for the first time in the country, he said.
"Probable delay in materialization of the project is not a major issue."
Qashqavi reiterated that both Tehran and Moscow are satisfied with the process of the project.
