IRGCAF commander says cruise missiles sites of preventive value

IRGCAF Commander-Cruise Sites-Prevention
Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran Guard Corps Air Force (IRGCAF) said here Monday cruise missiles' sites are among the most important preventive factors for countries.

Brigadier General Hossein Salami referred to the unique capabilities of those sites at the opening ceremony of a nationwide gathering to mark the official put to use of the Islamic Republic of Iran's cruise missile sites, adding, "Considering the precision of these missiles in destroying the targets, their control systems and their capability of decreasing the probability of being detected by radars, these sites are within the Islamic Republic of Iran's most important preventive strategic means."

Salami said, "The only way to prevent the enemies' ominous intentions against our country is generating power and putting it on display at a level to increase the preventive factor's extent, so as to occupy their minds with the question of how to penetrate into the defense layers of our country's sensitive and strategic centers." The IRGCAF commander further elaborating on unique capabilities of cruise missile sites, referred to their capability of aiming at a combination of invading targets.

Brigadier General Salami added, "The mighty minds and hands of the Jihadi technicians of our country's defensive industries have enabled Iran to demonstrate a boosted preventive power show aimed at convincing the enemies to forget about invading Iran."

According to IRNA reporter, the two day gathering sponsored by Defense Ministry's Aerospace Industries Organization is scheduled to focus on such issues as designing cruise missile sites, navigation and control technologies, flight dynamics and aerodynamics, fire hazard systems, model plane manufacturing, electronic wars, immunity and eliability, innovations and future technologies will be discussed among the participating technicians and scientists.
