Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that the nuclear substances produced in Iran are under full supervision of the UN nuclear watchdog.

Addressing his weekly press briefing, he regretted that certain Western media publish hostile and contradictory reports against Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

Referring to a recent fake report appeared in The New York Times, he said the article is an example of contradictory reports published by the Western media.

Commenting on a report on The New York Times report that some 260 kg of uranium has been produced in Iran, he added that the report has also claimed that inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency have no access to Iran's installations.

"It also wrote that there is no cameras monitoring Iranian activities and that the Islamic Republic has abandoned
Non-Proliferation Treaty," Qashqavi added.

He stressed that such reports aimed to create psychological pressures and are politically motivated.

Qashqavi reiterated that Tehran has not withdrawn from the NPT, the IAEA cameras are installed over all Iranian nuclear sites and the agency's inspectors are monitoring Iran's peaceful nuclear activities.

He added that each gram of nuclear substances produced by the Islamic Republic is under direct supervision of the UN nuclear agency.
