President: Nuclear issue significant for Iranian nation

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Wednesday that nuclear issue is a highly significant issue for Iranian nation and government.
"Nuclear science is a highly valuable, decisive and unique technology which can expedite our progress," the president told the jubilant Zanjani citizens on the first day of his tour of Zanjan.
President Ahmadinejad said, "Our enemies were even ready in the nuclear issue to come to terms with us but at the same time wanted to disrespect our dignity and independence and make us act upon their dictates as an agent or puppet."
He said today, all the big and bullying powers worldwide have failed to harm the Iranian nation by raising irrelevant claims every now and then and pretending to be a superpower.
He added that enemies of the Iranian nation and government have not the least hope on defeating Iran and their efforts are only for defense of their own colonialistic strategies.
Addressing the "ill-wishers" of the Iranian nation, President Ahmadinejad said the Iranian people and youth are ready to foil all their plots.
