Russia determined to complete Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant - Dy FM

Russian Deputy foreign minister said here Friday that Russia is determined to complete Bushehr Nuclear Reactor.

According to IRNA's Moscow correspondent, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister in Security and Disarmament Affairs Sergei Riabkov vowed the promise at a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Seyyed Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi, expressing hope that the Bushehr Nuclear Reactor would be put to use as soon as possible.

Riabkov briefed the Iranian diplomat on negotiations and meetings he recently had with Islamic Republic of Iran's officials, evaluating them as "positive and constructive."

Appreciating his Iranian hosts' warm and friendly attitude and great hospitality, he announced his country's readiness for continuation of negotiations and expansion of bilateral and international cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Russian deputy foreign minister meanwhile expressed delight over meeting the new Iranian ambassador to his country and wished him success in pursuing the objectives of his new diplomatic mission.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's new ambassador to the Russian Federation, too, during the meeting elaborated on the process of bilateral cooperation and the two countries' relations, stressing the need to take full advantage of both countries' entire potentials aimed at expansion of interactions and deepening comprehensive relations.

Sajjadi added, "The Iranian officials are determined to assist and facilitate in efforts aimed at pursuing and improvement of bilateral relations at all levels."
