Navy commander announces full border defense readiness

Iran-Navy Commander-Border Defense
Commander of Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy emphasized alertness of armed forces and nation here Wednesday, adding that Army, Navy and Air Force are fully ready for competent defense of Islamic Iran's borders.
According to IRNA reporter in Nowshahr, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari who was addressing the evening inaugural ceremony of the new commander of Nowshahr Imam Khomeini Navy University, added, "No one gets scared of the enemy's hue and cry today, because the enemy does not dare to do anything!" He reiterated, "Experience of the enemy in such countries as Afghanistan and Iraq has proved that they are not capable of achieving anything worth mentioning."
The IRI Navy Commander said, "You, Navy students, should be fully alert, well aware of the nature of the enemy, and the enemy's deficiencies."
At the end of the ceremony Admiral Peyman Ja'fari Tehrani was introduced as the new commander of Nowshahr Imam Khomeini Navy University and the services of the university's former Commander Admiral Abdol-Hossein Fouladband were appreciated.
After the inaugural ceremony the university's new Modern Naval ciences Research Center was officially opened in the presence of a number of IRI Navy commanders.
