Mottaki: Iran's cooperation with IAEA sincere, serious

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Sunday that Iran continues its sincere and serious cooperation with IAEA.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of government weekly session, Mottaki said he has no information on details of the new report which is to be presented by IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei on the country's nuclear activities.

Iran's cooperation with IAEA is in line with the governing rules and regulations of the agency, he said.

Implementation of Modality Plan is regarded as the peak of such cooperation, he pointed out.

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili and representative of the G+5 Javier Solana are now continuing constructive talks, Mottaki said.

On his recent visit to Moscow, he said the aim of such visit was to review developments in Georgia and its consequences.

Iran is to help restore stability and security to the region through touring the countries in the region, Mottaki said.

On Bushehr nuclear plant, he said the Russian contractor once again said that it is committed to commission the plant in due course.

On delay for issuance of visa to Iranian delegation who is to attend at UN general assembly, he said it is expected the relative visas would be issued in coming days although the US officials created obstacles in issuing visas during the last visit of the Iranian delegation.

During his stay in New York, the Iranian president is to confer with his counterparts along with Iranian nationals residing in the US.
