Iran's proposed package has been extended to Russia and China and the two countries have announced that they would closely investigate and announce their view on it, said an Iranian official here on Friday.
Director of the Media Affairs at the Supreme National Security Council Ahmad Khademolmelleh told IRNA Friday, "The Islamic Republic of Iran's proposed package was delivered to the two countries' (Russia and China) senior officials in Moscow and Beijing Friday morning by Iranian ambassadors."
The package has thus far been offered to six international personalities and officials of certain countries.
Khademolmelleh said some of the ambassadors of the Non-Aligned Movement too want to get informed of the content of Iran's package and have welcomed the country's new gesture in offering the package.
He stressed that Iran's main goal in offering the proposed package and entry to the new round of unconditional talks had been reaching all-out agreement on the basis of good will and collective efforts so as to establish long-term cooperation for consolidation of peace and lasting security on the regional and international levels on a fair basis.
"Having a positive image on current conditions, the Islamic Republic of Iran invites other parties to discard the vain path of confrontation and start proceeding in the line of mutual partnership in order for constructive engagement to redefine new relationships on the basis of durable mutual interests," concluded Khademolmelleh.
