Parliament to survey bill on chemical weapons ban treaty this week

Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission is scheduled to survey a bill on treaty to ban proliferation, production, storage and usage of chemical weapons, and the need for destroying them.

The Parliament's same commission will report during the same week on its survey on that treaty, as well as an amendment on the law for students paramilitary 'Basij' mobilization force and a bill on amendment of a law related to municipalities.

The Parliament's Cultural Affairs Commission, too, is scheduled to report to the Parliament's General Assembly on reasons for its rejection of the law to amend the satellite facilities usage law, another bill on freedom of information dissemination, and rejecting an amendment on the press law.
