Halting Russian nuclear parcel's export to Iran a customs issue - Envoy

Iran's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Republic said here Friday halting process of exporting a Russian nuclear parcel in this republic is due to a technical and custom clearance reason.

Nasser Hamidi Zare made the comment in an interview with IRNA, further reiterating, "This parcel is quite legally exported, adding, "The Russian company, as the executive organ and sender of this parcel for Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Station is responsible for this parcel and for performing its commitments."

Pointing out that the opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran resort to any possible type of plot, he added, "Azerbaijan Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran understand one another precisely well and that important matter has led to raising the two countries' relations at best and highest possible level, and that is observed in practice, as well."

Iran's Ambassador to Baku said, "The two countries' ties are strong and invulnerable, since they have roots in the history of the two nations and the two governments."
