Talks with IAEA delegation continues

Tehran, April 22, IRNA
The negotiations between top UN watchdog official Olli Heinonen and Iranian officials on the country's peaceful nuclear program continued for the second day.
Upon arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport, in southern Tehran, on Monday Heinonen was welcomed by Iranian Ambassador to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Ali-Asghar Soltanieh.
IAEA director for regional safeguards operations, Herman Nackaerts, is also accompanying Heinonen in his two-day visit to the Islamic Republic.
An informed source said that the previous day's talks lasted for three hours.
Deputy Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (IAEO) Mohammad Saeedi, Soltanieh and a number of Foreign Ministry and IAEA experts were present in the meeting.
The objective of Heinonen's visit is to discuss "the progress of Iran-IAEA cooperation", an official told IRNA.
He did not reject the question that discussion may focus on the "alleged studies".
"The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the alleged studies is a closed issue on which Tehran has provided the IAEA with data," he said.
"Holding the discussion is an indication of Tehran's goodwill and proves peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities," he added.
Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, said on Sunday that Heinonen's visit to Iran would be an ordinary visit taking place within the framework of Iran-IAEA cooperation.
Iran got clean health bill from the UN nuclear agency on February 22.
