President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says some in the West are not pleased with the outcome of good cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.
Ahmadinejad told the Spanish daily `El Pais' that some western states use Iran's nuclear activities as a pretext to pile up pressure on the country.
"Nuclear program is not important for them. They use it as a mere pretext. Of course what they think is not important for us. We have learned to live without them and this is the benefit gained from the experience," he added.
The IAEA said in its February report that Iran had clarified problems related to the nuclear case within the framework of the August action plan.
"We not only think the era of nuclear weapons has gone, but also we are not interested in producing such arms because we believe the weapons are against the rights and dignity of human beings." He said any new anti-Iran resolution will be a blow to the UN and downgrade its credibility.
