Mottaki: Iran-IAEA conclude work on Modality Plan

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Tuesday that Iran and IAEA have concluded work on Modality Plan and cooperation between the two sides will be continued within the NPT and IAEA's Safeguard Agreement.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of Foreign Ministry, Mottaki made the remarks in a meeting with Moroccan Commerce Minister Abdellatif Mazouz.
Given existing ties between the two countries, Mottaki said the two sides political leaders are determined to broaden mutual ties and it is expected that such cooperation will be boosted within joint economic commission meetings.
Referring to Iran's high and invaluable experiences in oil industries, he said Iran's capabilities in auto making industries, tractor manufacturing, dam and bridge construction along with other infrastructure projects have created good grounds for expansion of ties with other countries mainly the African and the Asian countries.
Referring to huge volume of trade exchange between Iran and other countries which is over dlrs 100 billion, he said it is possible to upgrade current level of trade exchange with Morocco but Iran and Morocco have common concerns and interests and the two sides cooperation will be to the benefit of North Africa as well as the Middle East region.
Referring to the crimes and atrocities of the Zionist regime and the issue of Palestine, he said it is expected that the OIC make use of all its facilities to alleviate the sufferings of Palestinians and put an end to the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The Moroccan commerce minister, for his part, who is now in Iran to attend Iran-Morocco Joint Economic Commission meeting gave a report on mutual agreements in the joint meeting.
Cultural, religious and political commonalties have prepared grounds for expansion of ties and cooperation between the two countries and that is why a high level group of Moroccan businessmen and traders have come to Iran and reached good agreements with their Iranian counterparts.
He said Morocco is ready to provide the Iranian companies with required facilities to implement the country's projects.
