Iran-Nuclear-Elham
Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham said here on Saturday that there exists no more question for the International Atomic Energy Agency after it declared on February 22 that it was "able to verify Iranian nuclear program".
Talking to reporters, Elham said, "All questions within the framework of work plan were answered by Iran and all the existing ambiguities on the country's peaceful nuclear program were removed." Iran-IAEA regular cooperation will continue within the framework of the agency rules and on the basis of the IAEA Safeguards, Elham noted.
"There is no suspension or cessation either in the report or in Iran's nuclear policies," he added.
On the next round of Iran-US talks on Iraq, he said the fourth round of talks was postponed due to technical reasons.
He added that the talks which aimed to help establishment of security, tranquility and welfare in Iraq, will continue.
The Iranian and US officials have so far held three rounds of talks on Iraqi situation on May 28, July 24 and August 6, 2007 respectively.
The talks were attended by Iran's Ambassador to Iraq Hassan Kazemi Qomi, his US counterpart Ryan Crocker and representatives of the Iraqi government.
