Iran-Nuclear-Hosseini
Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said here on Sunday that Iran provided the IAEA with data about the new generation of centrifuges in Natanz.
He told reporters during his weekly press briefing that the International Atomic Energy Agency had demanded information about operation of the new generation of centrifuges in Natanz.
He added that all Iran's nuclear activities are within the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty and under the IAEA Safeguards.
Hosseini further commented on the new Western claim against Iran in the run up for another report on Iran by the IAEA Chief Mohamed ElBaradei.
"Whenever Iran-IAEA cooperation reaches a conclusion, the West makes new wave of anti-Iran allegations to exert political pressure on the agency," he added.
"If they have any data, they can give them to the IAEA officials.
The IAEA would study the information and will reflect it in the report if it deems necessary."
