Speaking to reporters in Slovakia's capital of Bratislava, he said that he has no idea which country has participated in the production of the experimented missile.
According to a report released by the Russian state news agency, RIA Novosti, the minister added that many world countries have sold weapons to Iran.
Lavrov pointed out that he has watched the missile being fired in a television broadcast and said that he is not a torpedo expert.
The torpedo, declared to be the world's fastest of its kind, was test fired successfully by Iran's marine forces in the Holy Prophet wargame in the northwest of the Persian Gulf on April 2.
Deputy commander of the Navy Forces of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ali Fadavi referred to its high velocity and said that none of the enemies warships can escape it.
The joint wargame of the Navy and IRGC dubbed the Great Prophet of Islam (PBUH) started in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea waters on March 31 and is still underway.
