- The sixty-forth anniversary of Workers’ Party - North Korean Workers’ Party has celebrated the sixty-fourth anniversary of its foundation On Oct 10.
Inter-Korean Affairs
- Chinese Prime Minister Wen’s visit to the North and meeting with Kim Jong-Il - The North Korea media have reported Chinese prime minister Wen Jiabao’s visit to the North and his meeting with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il from Oct 4 to 6.
- Urge U.S’ change towards denuclearization – The North’s Chosun Shinbo reported on Oct 9 that the U.S. should first change its policy towards denuclearization of the Korean peninsular. Whether the change has been carried out or not will be verified by its implementation of “nuclear-free world.”
