Kim Jong Il Inspects KPA Unit 1727 for Training Commissioned Officers

   Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA)-- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected KPA Unit 1727 for training commissioned officers.
    He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the unit has conducted effective training and education to help the trainees get proficient in the military regulation and drill movements.
    Noting that the junior commanders including squad leaders have very important roles to play in establishing the military discipline as they are members who directly put into practice a disciplined life and military service and educators of soldiers, he put forward the tasks to be fulfilled in the education at the unit.
    Seeing the compound of barracks kept neat and tidy and an outdoor resting place in the forest covered with thick foliage, he praised the unit for assiduously managing it by thoroughly applying the method by which the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army did its unit.
    He acquainted himself with how the political work is done among soldiers, going round the servicepersons' hall, a library and other entertainment and educational facilities.
    He underscored the need for the unit to intensify the revolutionary education and working class education of the trainees so that each of them may live and struggle in a revolutionary manner with a clear-cut working-class viewpoint and a transparent revolutionary principle.
    He paid deep attention to the trainees' living, making the rounds of a bedroom, a mess hall, a wash-cum-bath house, a non-staple food store and other supply service facilities. He stressed that in order to bring up all the trainees as excellent junior commanders it is necessary for the unit to steadily improve the educational work as required by the developing reality and, at the same time, direct great efforts to providing them with good living conditions.
