Kim Jong Il Inspects Command of KPA Unit 351

   Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected the command of KPA Unit 351.
    After looking round the room devoted to the history of the unit, he dropped in at an operation commanding room and military science study rooms to acquaint himself with the unit's performance of duty and the training of its officers.
    He set forth the tasks to be fulfilled by the unit to further increase its combat capability, expressing satisfaction over the fact that it has conducted effective trainings for boosting the ability to command operations, thereby preparing all officers as the ones capable of skillfully organizing and commanding any difficult combat duty in modern warfare as they have high ability to organize operations and battles and command them.
    Going round the servicepersons' hall, a library and other entertainment and cultural facilities, he praised the unit for briskly conducting the revolutionary and working class education by successfully building entertainment and educational centres and effectively using a variety of materials. He also praised the unit for scrupulously organizing the book reading, in particular, to help all servicepersons become avid readers.
    He noted that the experience gained by the unit eloquently proves the validity of the teaching given by President Kim Il Sung that the secret of all successes is to do well the work with people.
    He highly appreciated the achievements the servicepersons of the unit have made by bringing about a turn in its management.
    Servicepersons are incessantly creating precious ideological, cultural and material assets conducive to the prosperity of the country, thereby brilliantly glorifying the great Songun era, he said, adding that this shining success clearly shows the mental ability of the servicepersons of the DPRK, their hearts burning with patriotism.
