   Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Thursday dedicates an article to the 10th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's famous work "Let Us Exalt the Brilliance of Comrade Kim Il Sung's Idea on the Youth Movement and the Achievements Made under His Leadership." Elaborated on in the work are questions of principle in steadily developing the youth movement as required by the times and developing revolution including the question of thoroughly preparing all the youths to be vanguard fighters of the Workers' Party of Korea intensely loyal to the idea and leadership of the Party, vanguard and shock brigade in the fight to defend socialism and in socialist construction and possessor of revolutionary moral sense of duty and way of life, the author of the article notes, and goes on:
    The last one decade after the publication of the work has been a worthy course in which the validity and vitality of the Party's idea of attaching great importance to the youth have been fully demonstrated and a pattern of the solution of the question of youth in the present times has been created under the great banner of Songun.
    The mettle of the youth given full scope in the general march for Songun revolution represents their determination and will to carry forward, pure and clean, and glorify generation after generation the precious tradition and experience attained by the forerunners in their struggle.
    This mettle is an eruption of their deep self-respect and pluck to adhere to the class principle to the bitter end on the road of defending and glorifying the socialist motherland of Juche, conscious of its being the best.
    Their revolutionary mettle displayed in the general march for Songun revolution is a manifestation of their sense of duty for the times, the consciousness of being pioneers of creation and innovation shaping the future of a great prosperous powerful nation.
    Underlying their revolutionary mettle are the pride and confidence in having a great leader.
    Kim Jong Il is the great leader of the Korean youth movement and the destiny and future of the Korean youth.
