Ciudad Bolívar (T-81)

This ship was built in the shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. LTD (South Korea), is a multi-purpose unit. The capacity is 4400 tons of marine fuel, 10 tons of JP-5 aviation fuel, 500 tons of drinking water, and 394 tons of dried products of which 8.90 tons are refrigerated cargo. It also has a heavy crane, hospital facilities and a platform at the stern for helicopters. Its specifications are: displacement: 9.750 tons, length: 137,70 m., sleeve: 18 m and draught: 9,50 m maximum speed: 18,60 knots. This unit has as mission embark, transport, and supply fuel, drinking water and dry provisions, refrigerated, war material, parts, spare parts and personal in order to provide logistical support effectively and efficiently the units on the sea, rookeries naval and coast guard stations, as well as to contribute actively in the Naval defense and national development.
