42nd Fighter Squadron
The 42nd Fighter Squadron was established as a Mirage 2000-5 unit in November 1998. The 42nd is the second squadron in the ROCAF to fly the Mirage 2000-5. The squadron is stationed at Hsinchu Air Base.
On December 14, 1999 a Mirage 2000-5 aircraft from the 42nd Fighter Squadron crashed following an accident. The cause of the accident are unknown.
