41st Fighter Squadron
The 41st Fighter Squadron was established as a Mirage 2000-5 unit in December 1997. The 41st is the first squadron in the ROCAF to fly the Mirage 2000-5. The squadron is stationed at Hsinchu Air Base.
On November 14, 2001 a Mirage 2000-5 aircraft from the 41st Fighter Squadron crashed into the sea following mechanical difficulties. One member of the crew was killed.
