Chernyshev Moscow Machine-Building Enterprise

The main lines of business of the Moscow Machine-Building Plant named after V.V.Chernyshev is the manufacture and overhaul of RD-33, TV7-117S, RD-1700 aeroengines manufacture of "Krot" motocultivators, "Neptun" boat engines fulfilling of single orders for precision casting, method of high speed directional solidification, plasma and vacuum spraying, heat treatment of titanium alloys, heat resistant and special alloys and steels.

MiG created a motor branch, which will consist of the V.V. Chernyshev plant, Krasny Oktyabr, and the Soyuz company. In other words, producers of engines, reduction gears, and drives will unite within the corporation.

The history of Zaporozhye Engine-Building plant is prominent due to events and people who participated in it. Suffice it to say that the plant was headed by Vladimir V. Chernyshev, (1938-1939), whose name was given to Tushino Machine-Building plant.
