The Islamic Resistance in Iraq made an announcement 06 November 2023 declaring that they put Al-Aqsa 1 medium-range missile into service, saying it was launched at the US occupation's bases in Iraq and Syria. An analysis of the dimensions apparent in the photo shows that the missile bears similarities with Iran's Fath-360 missile, which has a range of 120 km, a warhead of 150 kg, and a diameter of 360 mm.
On 25 November 2023, the “ Islamic Resistance in Iraq ” published statistics of its attacks that targeted American bases in Syria and Iraq and others that targeted the occupied Palestinian territories. It said that it carried out 39 attacks on American bases in Iraq, and regarding the details of the attacks, it said that 22 of them targeted the “Ain al-Assad” air base in Iraq, 10 attacks on the American base at “Erbil Airport,” and nine attacks on the “Harir” base in northern Iraq, which is This is two more attacks than the total number of attacks announced in Iraq.
It added that it carried out 36 attacks in Syria, distributed on the “Rumaylan” base, the “Al-Malikiyah” base, the “Kharab Al-Jir” base, the “Tal Baydar” base, and the “Al-Shaddadi” base, east of Al-Hasakah. In Deir ez-Zor, it said it attacked the “Green Village” base, the “Koneko Field” base, and the “Omar Field” base, east of the governorate, in addition to attacks on the “Al-Tanf” base and the “Rukban” base, east of Homs.

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance confirmed that it had undertaken to achieve two goals: liberating Iraq from the American occupation, and supporting occupied Palestine in its sacred battle against the Israeli occupation. It stressed that it will continue its operations against the Israeli settlements, until the declaration of a truce in the Gaza Strip and the occupation’s commitment to it, explaining that its fighters will remain fully prepared during that period, as “if the Zionist entity returns to its crimes, we will return.” On 19 March 2024 the Secretary-General of the Islamic Resistance, Kataib Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq, Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi, said "Suspending our military operations is not the end of the matter, and the resistance can rely on its own capabilities to manage a long-term battle." Al-Hamidawi, met with leaders of the resistance axis in Tehran. Al-Hamidawi said: "The victory of the liberation movements is in line with the interest of anti-imperialist forces, especially in West Asia and North Africa. The performance of the people of Iraq in the battle to support Gaza must be effective and distinguished.""
