Type 89 Fighting Vehicle
This Japanese infantry fighting vehicle was introduced in 1987. The engine is on the left front, with the driver on the right. To the rear of this hatch is another hatch for the squad leader of the infantry squad carried in the rear. The turret is two man with hatches for the commander and gunner in the roof. On the turret roof is a device that warns the crew if the vehicle is being targeted by a laser. The troop compartment has a slightly raised roof, and there are two doors in the rear of the hull for exits. The right door has a firing port, and there are three more ports on each side of the hull.
