ATS Kurobe Class
The mission of the ATS Kurobe is aviation targetting. The JMSDF aims to improve the capability of anti-aircraft shooting training support as there are more SAM being installed on destoyers. The ATS Kurobe has the function to emply 4 aerial targets at once, and it performs shooting training support in cooperation with U-36A aircraft.
