4th Infantry Division
The 4th Infantry Division is assigned to the Iraqi Army 5th Corps.
As of early January 1991 there was a recent increase in reporting, not yet substantiated by the US Defense Intelligence Agency, that the Iraqis had deployed additional field artillery and ADA to the northern frontier. Recent departures of units along the Turkish border included the 39th Infantry Division, which was assessed to be in the KTO, and the 11th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the 4th Infantry Division, which may also be in the KTO.
