TF 2000 Air-warfare Destroyer - Design
Using the sea as a shield, TF 2000 will have the basic mission function capability that will enable the detection of low / medium / high-altitude losa / medium / long range guided missiles and ballistic missiles and their destruction (except ballistic missiles) before they approach the mainland.
. In order to maintain this capability and to meet the country's air defense gradually from the sea and to meet the need for a floating platform with superior air defense and attack capability, an air defense warfare destroyer based on national resources has emerged. In accordance with the directive of the Naval Forces, the design activities of the TF-2000 Air Defense War Destroyer (HSHM) Project started at DPO as of July 2017.
The TF-2000 HSHM hull form was designed by performing multipurpose hull form optimization with the Parametric Boat Form calculation approach using the original software developed. Among the possible solutions of the Parametric Boat Form, the optimum single hull displacement hull form with the highest stability criteria that provides the lowest hull resistance / machine power requirement and the highest marine performance has been selected. The optimum hull form was subjected to Computational Fluid Dynamics (HAD) analyzes and the resistance values ??were verified.
TF-2000 HSHM is designed to reduce the Radar Cross Section Area (RKA), Underwater Acoustic noise level, Magnetic and Infrared (K / O) Trace level in accordance with the current technological level within the scope of Survivability Design approach. To achieve this goal, a Trail Management approach is applied from the first stage of the ship's design. TF-2000 will have sensors and protection systems that will allow HSHM to perform operations in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) threat environment; There will be Collective Protection Zones (MARA) with positive air flow higher than atmospheric pressure on board.
Main Drive System to be included in TF-2000 HSHM will be optimized to meet operational needs, taking into account the survivability, speed-maneuver requirements, cruise profile and lifetime costs of the ship. The drive system is foreseen to have a high reliability, proven performance, redundant and cost effective CODOG Main Drive System configuration. In the prescribed CODOG configuration - 2 diesel engines that will provide economical use for low speed steps and transfer speed with 2 high power density gas turbines for high speed needs. It is planned to use 2 Controllable Pitched Propeller systems that will provide optimum thrust at different speed levels.
TF-2000 HSHM will have short / medium, long text surface-to-air guided projectiles within the scope of the progressive air defense principle. Within the scope of self-defense of the ship, in addition to the main battery cannon, an effective defense system against guided missiles, Close Air Defense Weapon System (YHSS) to provide 360 ??° protection and N / Ms that can perform various attack maneuvers with subsonic and higher speed. will be equipped with. TF-2000 HSHM is a Multi-Purpose Phased Array with an integrated IFF system that can detect and track G / Ms and aircraft, has the ability to perform search, target detection and fire control functions, and allows it to engage various targets in the shortest time and at the most effective distance. It will have Radar (ÇAFRAD). TF-2000 HSHM is equipped with a Long Range Air Search Radar (UMR) capable of establishing the aerial image from a range of at least 200 miles, operating with integrated IFF system, enabling aircraft to be controlled in three dimensions, detecting modern G / Ms and aircraft. will be equipped.
It will have a laser-guided projectile / stabilized automatic cannon / machine gun with high firing power and equipped with E / O sensors and laser distance measurement units, with semi-automatic and diagnostic automatic reaction feature against low altitude targets. GENESIS ADVENT SYS within the TF-2000 HSHM will provide fast and effective reaction and decision support in a dynamic and variable air defense warfare environment with its advanced threat assessment, engagement planning and execution algorithms. In addition, resource optimization will be achieved and force protection will be maximized thanks to the integrated Network Supported Capability function and the sharing of sensors / weapons across the task force. The TF-2000 HSHM will be capable of using physical destruction and functional destruction capabilities in an integrated and simultaneous manner.
TF-2000 HSHM, in order to provide sea surface fire support; Large caliber with precise strike capability, high firing power, capable of firing various types of bullets including long-range modern and intelligent ammunition against air, surface and ground targets, fully automatic multi-loading system and integrated with the national Fire Control (AIK) system. It will have a main battery turret. TF-2000 HSHM will be equipped with ATMACA Surface-to-Surface G / Ms that can perform long-range, cheated maneuvers for surface warfare purposes and developed with national facilities. For asymmetric threat, it will have a laser-guided bullet / stabilized automatic cannon / machine gun that will provide 360 ??° environmental protection, have semi and fully automatic reaction features, high firing power and equipped with E / O sensors and laser distance measurement units.
TF-2000 HSHM will have light torpedo weapons that it can use for an effective DSH, head-mounted sonar system for underwater target detection and tracking, torpedo defense system, retractable active and passive sonar array, and all DSH weapons and sensors of the ship are integrated with the combat management system. will work. In addition to the DSH systems on board, an effective DSH capability will be provided from long range with the DSH purpose helicopter to be deployed on it.
The TF-2000 HSHM will have safe, fast and alternative internal and external communication systems to respond to the need for reliable, defined operations in strategic, operative and tactical areas. For navigational purposes, LPI-enabled navigation radar, WECDIS and WAIS systems that will provide 360 ??° coverage, dual-purpose surface search / navigation radar that can perform surface search and navigation radar functions at the same time, electronic navigational maps and various navigational aids and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) It will be equipped with anti-collision systems at sea in accordance with the rules of the Republic of Turkey.
The TF-2000 HSHM is equipped with a national Electronic Support (ED) system that can perform precise analysis and has a library that can diagnose the target in a very short time, an Electronic Attack (ET) device capable of mixing in a wide frequency range, Laser Detection-Warning Systems, other weapons / systems. It will have a National EH Suite that can simultaneously control functional destruction systems that can be used jointly / in coordination.
The TF-2000 HSHM will have a nationally and locally developed GENESIS ADVENT Combat Management System (SYS), which responds to the needs of a network-supported operations approach, and facilitates fast and correct decision-making of tactical decision makers with integrated decision support systems. GENESIS ADVENT SYS has the capability of compiling information from weapons and sensors on the ship, providing command support for valuation, weapon allocation, transferring target information to other platforms with an integrated link system and receiving this information from other platforms.
On the TF-2000 HSHM ship, 2 Medium Cargo Transport Helicopters with a maximum take-off weight of at least 15 tons and 2 Fixed or rotary wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (GIHA) with fixed or rotary wings for reconnaissance / attack purposes can land and take off day and night, and its service platform and hangar support, spare weapon arsenal and JP-5 fuel supply. (Helicopter) platform to be found on the ship; It will have Level-1 certification, which allows for day and night operations under instrument meteorological conditions, and Class-2 certification, which provides service for the deployment area.
The TF-2000 HSHM ship will have a Flexible Duty Compartment (EGB) that will allow the ship to carry the mobile payloads, depending on the type of operation to be carried out. There will be space to carry 10 20 ft containers or 4 RHIB (12 m) or 1 Medium Cargo Helicopter with 15 tons maximum take-off weight. Bridge cranes and side covers with a lifting capacity of 15 tons that can carry containers or RHIBs in three dimensions and can be lowered to the shore from the starboard and pier sides of the ship. There will be a transition between the hangar and the hangar in order to deploy the container or helicopter, There will be an infrastructure that can provide electricity, water and ventilation for independent containers that will be needed according to the type of operation, Unmanned surface and underwater vehicles and systems can be deployed according to the nature of the task to be performed.
