Yuan Wang - Space Event Ships - 3rd Generation
In 2007 and 2008, the world's most advanced navigation, meteorology, measurement and control, and communication technologies, the Yuanwang No. 5 ship and the second new-generation aerospace ocean-going survey ship were successively delivered, which marked China's space-based ocean measurement and control capability. Jump to a new level.
Yuanwang No. 5, China's third-generation aerospace survey ship, is a large-scale aerospace ocean-going survey ship with international advanced level. It was officially delivered to the China Satellite Maritime Monitoring and Control Department at the Jiangnan Shipyard on September 29, 2007.
The Yuanwang 5 measuring ship is composed of the latest technologies in ship construction, navigation meteorology, electronics, machinery, optics, communication, computer and other fields. It consists of two parts: the general ship platform and the space measurement and control equipment. It is divided into ships, measurement and control, communication, Meteorology 4 systems. The full-load displacement is 25,000 tons, and the wind-resistant capacity can reach 12 or above. It can sail in any sea area within 60 degrees north and south.
Large-scale measurement and control equipment such as S-band unified measurement and control system, C-band unified measurement and control system and C-band pulse radar are installed on the ship, which can complete the maritime tracking measurement and control tasks for various spacecraft such as rockets, satellites and spacecraft, and can be real-time with the mission center. Communication and data exchange. Yuanwang No. 5 solves the stability of the ship:
- Install two fins on the hull before and after, and reduce the swing of ten degrees to 5 degrees.
- Install the relevant equipment on the radar base to reduce the 5 degree swing to 1 degree.
- Install the relevant equipment on the antenna to reduce the 1 degree swing to a few seconds.
The three-stage anti-rolling measures enable the main survey ship to reach the land standard under the 6-level wave, and can stand upright in the 12-class typhoon.
On October 17, 2018, the "Ocean 5" space ocean survey ship left the factory after the completion of the 10-month medium-modified project in Jiangnan Shipbuilding. Jiang Yan, the deputy general manager of Jiangnan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and the heads of relevant departments were the ship. After the trip, Zhang Shenning, a senior expert in Jiangnan Shipbuilding, accompanied the ship to test the flight.
After 10 years of wind and rain baptism, China’s third-generation aerospace ocean-going survey vessel “Yuanwang 5” sailed into Jiangnan Shipbuilding on December 25, 2017 after successfully sailing 390,000 nautical miles and successfully completing 55 national-level space monitoring and control tasks. , for a period of 10 months of technical renovation.
In the past 10 months, “Yuanwang 5” has carried out 3 dock repairs in Jiangnan Shipbuilding, completed more than 200 armored and deck mechanical works, nearly 600 marine power system projects, and laid and examined more than 4,000. Cable. After the quenching and steel addition and upgrading, the “Yuanwang 5” was reborn, and the ship's appearance was completely renewed. The ability to conduct scientific research and test tasks achieved a new leap.
Yuanwang No.6, China's third-generation aerospace ocean-going survey ship, designed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation No. 708 Research Institute, started construction in Jiangnan Shipyard in April 2006, launched on March 16, 2007, Delivered on 12 April 2008, the Chinese Satellite Maritime Monitoring and Control Department, and since July 2008, it had the ability to perform tasks.
The Yuanwang No. 6 ship adopts the latest technology in the fields of shipbuilding, marine meteorology, electronics, machinery, optics, communications, and computers. The installation of three sets of large-scale measurement and control equipment on the deck will not only complete the maritime tracking and control tasks for various spacecraft such as rockets, satellites and spacecraft, but also for the first time in the history of survey ship construction. The boat has basic daily living facilities, including satellite TV, multi-purpose club, electronic reading room, gymnasium, etc. It is equipped with a helicopter library, a swimming pool in the center of the deck, and a variety of sports fun activities in the leisure time.
The Yuanwang No. 6 Ship Command and Control Center is equipped with an advanced integrated bridge system with automatic navigation and real-time monitoring functions to enable unmanned driving. The ship adopts a fiber-optic integrated information transmission platform, enabling all major systems to share information resources and possessing maritime intelligent consultation and troubleshooting capabilities; the electricity she owns can be used for a city of 300,000 people; its storage oil and water are available for 400 people to live and sail on board for a long time.
As a new member of the marine measurement and control force, Yuanwang No. 7 is the latest generation of space-going ocean-going survey vessel independently designed and developed by China and with international advanced level. The ship of Yuanwang No. 7 has a length of more than 220 meters and a height of more than 40 meters. The full displacement is nearly 30,000 tons. Since it was listed in July 2016, it completed the rendezvous and docking of Shenzhou 11 and Tiangong 2, and the first flight of the Long March 5 rocket. task. During the voyage, Yuanwang No. 7 will carry out the offshore measurement and control communication mission of the Tianzhou No. 1 in-orbit section and the running section.
The shape of "Yuanwang No.7" is larger than that of China's third-generation aerospace ocean-going survey vessel "Yuanwang No.5" and "Yuanwang No.6". The deck of the tower is more obvious. It can be seen from the ship’s porthole window that “Yuanwang No. 7” has increased the hull of the ship in front of the ship, improving the ability to withstand wind and waves in high sea conditions, for aerospace surveying operations on the ocean, and to provide a more stable platform.
In order to ensure the success of the mission, Yuanwang No. 7 is aimed at the difficult features of the mission, highlighting the basis of strengthening the post, emergency response and task-specific training, and carefully organizing the joint drill to enhance the ability of the technicians to participate in the test. In view of the fact that the new equipment of the new ship is in the early stage of running-in, they conduct comprehensive inspections, check the hidden dangers one by one, closely organize the performance index test, calibrate the equipment parameters, verify the technical status, and ensure that the mission requirements are met.
