WS300 / WS500 / WS700 turbofan family
The China Gas Turbine Establishment (Zhongguo Ranqiwolun Yanjiu Yuan), a research institute in Chengdu, Sichuan, claims to have developed a small turbofan engine, designated WS-500, for use in unmanned aerial vehicles or light business jets.
The WS300 / WS500 / WS700 turbofan family is a series of low-thrust turbofan engines, with a thrust of 300, 500 or 700 KG KN [??], in volume production since 2005 for unmanned aircraft and cruise missiles.
