C-611 / YJ-61 / YJ-63
The C-611 is a development of the Russian Raduga Kh-28 AS-9 KYLE. The C-611 is modified with high energy oxidizer fuel and an improved engine that extends the firing range to 186-200 km.
The YJ-63 TV-guided air-to-surface missile, also known as the "air-to-surface-63 missile", is China’s first combat air-to-surface missile and one of the most advanced air-to-surface attack weapons in our army. The official number of the missile is K/ AKD-63. The first target test was successful in 2000 and may be finalized in 2004. During the Sino-Russian "Peace Mission" exercise in 2005, the Air Force’s H-6 bombers once fired two YJ-63 live ammunition from 60 kilometers away from the target, and they hit accurately.
The YJ-63 missile is believed to be developed from the Seahawk anti-ship missile. It is a tactical mid-range air-launched cruise missile that can be launched outside the defense zone. It is mainly used to attack tightly fortified important targets outside the defense zone. Such as command posts, bridges, airport runways, air defense positions, water ships, tanks, armored vehicles and other targets with low moving speed. The YJ-63 missile can use the on-board TV seeker to capture the battlefield picture, and transmit the picture to the carrier in real time, and display it on the multi-function display in the cockpit. The weapon operator controls the missile to fly to the target. The missile-borne fire control computer can also automatically execute the task of tracking to the hit without manual intervention. It is also possible to use the human-in-the-loop guidance method to cut into the control signal of the weapon operator while automatically tracking. The advantage of the YJ-63 missile is that the system is low in price and the warhead is powerful. The disadvantage is that it is relatively affected by weather conditions and has poor anti-interference ability; limited by engine power, the flight speed is relatively slow, only about 0.7 Mach.
The guidance method of YJ63 missile is television guidance. The cruise section can be controlled automatically or manually. For a typical target (machine fort, fortification, etc.), the maximum target interception distance is 18 kilometers, the maximum locking distance is 12 kilometers, and the minimum guidance distance is 6 kilometers. The probability of intercepting the target in the automatic state is 98%, and in the manual state is 99%. The hit probability is more than 90% (ideal weather conditions), and the hit accuracy is 2-6 meters.
The front of the missile body is equipped with a two-way signal transmitting/receiving antenna, the cruise section adopts inertial guidance, and the end adopts a human-in-the-loop television guidance method. The system is divided into manual tracking and automatic tracking in the tracking state. It can be operated by the carrier. Switch as required. The guidance system has a working life of 100 hours and a storage life of 10 years. The TV guide head weighs 50 kg.
The missile launch height is 200~~5000 meters. When attacking the ground target, it usually adopts the dive attack, and when attacking the surface target, it usually adopts the sea-skimming level attack. The missile is launched in a free-fall mode. After the launch, the missile is about 70 to 120 meters away from the carrier and the engine is ignited and climbs or dives. At the same time, the course is corrected and the cruise begins to fly.
The YJ63 missile has a cruise speed of 900 km/h. The cruising altitude is 7m~~1000m, and the cruising altitude of typical mission is 600m. It adopts WP-11 small turbojet engine and rectangular air intake. According to the launch and cruise altitude, the effective range of the missile can be up to 180 kilometers, the maximum power range is 240 kilometers, and the minimum range is 20 kilometers (the maximum power range refers to the load The aircraft launches the missile at a height of 5,000 meters at the maximum allowable speed, downwind, direct flight and smooth descent, the missile does not make large overload maneuvers, ideal weather conditions, the maximum range that the missile can reach is usually impossible in reality. Therefore, in missile guidance When data transmission is designed, the maximum power range is never used as the data transmission distance, because it is not necessary at all). The missile has a length of 7.0 meters, a diameter of 760mm, a total weight of 2000 kg, and a 500 kg blasting warhead.
The latest H-6k has achieved a "reborn" transformation, improving the air-to-ground strike capability. An external hanging point is added under the wing, which can mount 6 Longsword-10 cruise missiles or KD88 air-to-surface missiles, with a maximum load of 15 tons, which effectively increases the density of single aircraft and single fire attack.
