Angamos, Buque Madre de Submarinos (4to)

This ship was built in 1966 in Germany commissioned by Norway for the ferry and vehicle transport service. In 1971 it was purchased by "Empremar" for use in tourist trips. The Navy acquired it the company already named dated 19 April 1977 to serve as mother ship for submarines. Its incorporation into the service became effective on May 6, 1977. It was modified to serve as a submarine mother ship. Alienated "Tina Schipping S.A." society represented by Greek businessman Mr Nikolaos Kolias, and taken to the port of Pireos.
