78-meter Barcaza de Desembarco
The 78-meter Barcaza de Desembarco [landing ship] was a 2006 design based on current type Batral barges hull, it was a project more than Asmar than of the Navy, and did not enter production. The 78 Meter design was a boat of cutting-edge technology designed to meet the requirements of any Navy. Its features included high and flexible payload, including vehicles with wheels or crawler, fixed and portable accommodations for troops and helicopter, space for installing arms on cbta, equipped hospital and Government set up bridge to serve as command post. Minimum probability of detection was achieved using forms for low radar reflection. A high degree of redundancy and survivability, with halls of machines 100% independent, subdivisions, symmetrical flooding and structure with ballistic protection. The advanced propulsion system, which allows a distribution of flexible power and minimum fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
