AIR GROUP "31" "Gral. Jorge Jordán Mercado" It is the oldest aviation unit of the Bolivian air force, it was created during the Chaco War, on July 31, 1932; It is headquarters to the city of El Alto. It is named after "Gral. Jorge Jordán Mercado" in memory of the legendary hero and military aviator who commanded forces in campaign during the Chaco War.

Antonio Vargas Mercado" in memory of the valiant officer of the FAB who died in 1965 defending against internal enemies of the country.

Inchauste" Group of artillery and anti-aircraft defense '97", headquartered in the town of Caranavi, La Paz, was created by order of the day of FAB No. 104 10 of 29 July 2010. The GADA "97" is named after "My. Manuel P. Inchauste" in memory of the military instructor and notable observer air of the Chaco War who died in a plane crash.

This helicopter training unit was nominated "Gral. Div. Aé. Alberto Paz Soldán Pol" as a tribute to the last Aviator and hero of the Chaco War.
